After a successful campaign to raise cash for food banks and projects in Lewisham and Glasgow, the TMB’s ‘Little Miracle Worker’,  AKA the Forgotten Yorkshire book, is returning to its homeland to raise much-needed resources for Yorkshire food banks.

From 6 – 25 December 2022, the TMB has pledged to donate £2 from the sale of any of its books sold on Amazon or via its website to food bank projects.

Pledged income from Forgotten Yorkshire will be shared in equal measure between the following two agencies:

  • The Welcome Centre – for their Huddersfield food bank @Welcome_Hudds
  • Food AWARE CIC – for the four food banks serving Doncaster, Thorne Moor, Mexborough and Denaby  @FoodAWARE

At the moment, Amazon are continuing to offer Forgotten Yorkshire at the heavily-discounted price of 99p and we have no idea how long this discount will remain. The TMB is, however, determined to raise as much as it possibly can to assist these food banks in the months ahead.  We’ll be appealing to our followers and supporters in social media to once more make purchases that trigger the donations, and we hope that the wider public will respond in equal measure.

Each £2 raised from the sales of our other books will be accounted for separately and will be used to support food bank projects decided by the TMB Board.
